The Vision of the MISD is to assist in making Montana First Nation a Healthy, well trained, educated and independent community.
To provide a seamless one window “One Stop Shop” for Montana First Nation members. Maximize the available resources in the Montana First Nation Human Services to serve MFN members.
Operate in a client centered approach in serving members.
To ease access to services for MFN members.
To collaborate efficiently with all MFN departments and entities and external stakeholders to maximize support for all MFN members.
To support MFN members to thrive and enhance their quality of life without heavy dependency on the Nation.
Provide support services to family groups on:
Parenting, Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Money Management, Conflict Management, Stress Management, Grief, Counselling, Cultural Programming
Provide members with regular and current education on healthy living and ongoing support for kids, youth and adults to achieve and maintain a healthy quality of life.
Promote healthy living.
Provide quality career coaching services to members.
Support members to attain and retain suitable employment
