Social Assistance Programs

  • adult care
  • health clinic
  • preventative social services (drug and alcohol, children at risk, families at risk)
  • pre-vocational training (for social assistance recipients to help clients to be more self-reliant)
  • referrals to treatment centers to Nayoskan, Health Centre, Women's Shelters
  • food Bank (open twice a month)
  • assistance with paperwork such as applications to AISH, pensions, and unemployment
  • handivan to transport Elders and other members to attend cultural, medical and other functions in surrounding communities
